Pastors of the Redeemed Church of God [RCCG] have been advised to get ready to attend naming ceremonies of new born babies early next year.
The General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adebayo revealed this yesterday during the Sunday sermon broadcast through the DOVE TV, the RCCG media. The man popularly called ‘Daddy G. O.’ saw birth of many babies early next year due the lockdown brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
”A lot of great things are going to come out of this lockdown. Let me advise those of you who are pastors. You are resting now. I am busy. Get ready because early next year, you will be having a lot of naming ceremonies. You will be going from house to house naming newborn babies as a result of the lockdown,” he remarked.
According to the former university don, coronavirus lockdown pandemic would produce ‘great things’, one of which would be an increase in birthrate all over the world.
The clergy whose Pentecostal Church is almost in every street of Lagos and in every city of the world, observed some anomaly in the rate of the coronavirus recoveries across the globe, arguing that the percentage of the discharged patients was less than one-tenth of the associated recorded.
”Aren’t you amazed at the number of those released compared to people who died? Check all over the world, you will find out that the number is less than those who have been healed.” He explained that the number of people who had died as a result of coronavirus was less than those who died by accident and other means.
