Hon. IBIDA COMMISSIONS BOREHOLE IN ABAGANA.

The honourable member representing Njikoka 2 Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon.Sir Dr. Peter Ibida has commissioned a borehole drilled in Akpu Village, Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Speaking during the occasion, Hon. Ibida, who is on his second tenure, praised the community for the cohesion and unity applied in executing the project, and thanked them for supporting him.

He poured encomium on the Chairman, Akpu Village Union, Chief Christopher Ozugha for his sterling leadership, and assured them of more dividends of democracy.

Speaking while cutting the tape to declare the project functional, the Traditional Ruler of Abagana, His Royal Majesty, Sir Obi Patrict Mbamalu Okeke thanked God for using the Hon. Member to bless the community. He prayed for more of God’s grace upon him for more quality and effective representation of the Constituency in the State Assembly.

Earlier while welcoming the Hon. Memeber with his entourage through presentation of kolanut, Chief Christopher Ozugha [Ichie Akunwafor], thanked Hon. Ibida for siting the project at the Village and assured him of total support for his effective representation for more dividends of democracy to the Village in no distant time.

He explained to his subjects how Hon.Sir Dr. Ibida found the Village worthy of the project and had come to know if it had been completed and begun functioning. He prayed for his elevation in leadership positions.

The borehole situated at Udenwakpu Square in Akpu Village of Abagana, headquarters of Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, is the second of its kind executed in Abagana by Hon. Dr. Ibida. The first one was sited at Obodoili Square in Umudunu Village.

Some Senior Special Assistants [SSAs] and Special Assistants [SAs] to the Governor, including Barrister MC Akudu, witnessed the occasion.
