The founder and bishop of Living Christ Mission Incorporated, Onitsha, Anambra State, Prof. Daddy Hezekiah has warned the Federal Government to desist from what he termed unwarranted loans, especially from China. He described China as a desperate country, stressing that taking a loan from her could lead to mortgaging the future of Nigeria.
The cleric who gave the warning in Onitsha while addressing reporters insisted that Nigeria would continue to borrow from one country to the other until things were done the right way. He also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being parochial in his appointment of kitchen cabinets.
“It is high time Nigeria is restructured to enable her function and flourish well as a country where you have many professors and well-read gentlemen and ladies.
“APC Government is devoid of integrity and only men of integrity can save the country from the mess she is already into,” he said.
On the proposed vaccine, Hezekiah cautioned the country to be wary, warning that the vaccine could create an avenue for some politicians to enrich themselves.
He likened the scenario to what played out during the first lock down where the palliatives meant for the poor masses were cornered by some state governments.
He added, “I want to first of all call on President Buhari to give priority attention to the issue of insecurity which is dominating our news headlines today.
“People are being killed on daily basis, yet the government is busy deceiving Nigerians, borrowing money from time to time, yet absolutely nothing to show for the ones borrowed.”
On the United States presidential election, Hezekiah urged Americans to redeem their image by defending their integrity following what he described as a show of fraud that characterised the poll.
