In a shocking revelation, the So-Safe Corps of Ogun State has taken decisive action, dismissing officer Yusuf Adeboye over allegations of theft. Adeboye stands accused of stealing items and cash from the residence where he was assigned as a security officer in Abeokuta.
The dismissal was confirmed by the agency’s Commander, Soji Ganzallo, as disclosed in a statement released on Friday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Moruf Yusuf.
Adeboye’s dismissal comes in the wake of an investigation triggered by a complaint from the owner of the residence on November 12, reporting the disappearance of valuable items. Ganzallo revealed that aggressive inquiries led to Adeboye’s arrest on November 21, during which he confessed to the crime, admitting to a series of thefts at the Onibukun Area of Obantoko in Abeokuta.

The corps commander emphasized that the dismissed officer had confessed to stealing items on multiple occasions, and the client had accepted his commitment to returning all stolen property.
Ganzallo issued a stern warning to the public, advising against any association with the dismissed officer, emphasizing that So-Safe would not tolerate actions compromising the trust placed in its security services. This dismissal serves as a clear message, indicating the agency’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its security service delivery in Ogun State.
