The escape of Binance chief executive from the custody has resulted in arrest of officers in charge of the custody.
The office of the National Security Adviser confirmed the story and added that the officers responsible were arrested. The office coordinates Interpol for his re-arrest.
The statement reads, “The Office of the National Security Adviser confirms that Nadeem Anjarwalla, a suspect in the ongoing criminal probe into the activities of Binance in Nigeria, has escaped from lawful custody on Friday, March 22, 2024.
