The great exploits the Air Peace airline is doing in the global aviation industry needs to be celebrated by Africans especially Nigerians.
The President General, Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos, Chief Dr. Sunday Udeh expressed this his view in the Anjorin Lagos office of the Igbo social cultural organization while speaking to The NationGuardNews.
“Here in Igbo Speaking Community, we celebrate Air Peace through the boss, Barr Allen Onyema for the high level business acumen displayed in the debut Lagos-London route launched in March 30, 2024. The business acumen he displayed presently in the aviation industry is phenomenon.
“Instead of paying ₦11 million charged by foreign airlines already plying the route, Air Peace reduced the air ticket to ₦1. 2 million for the passengers. This is marvelous, great and unprecedented in the history of aviation industry.”

Going further, PG Udeh said that the bold move has forced the old airlines in the route to bring down their fare as low as ₦1.5 million from N3 million it was before.
On the plan by the cut throat competition to force Air Peace out of the business, Dr Udeh expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Air Peace team to soar higher than the rival airlines as there are passengers already for Air Peace.
“Remember there are Nigerian students whose air tickets are slashed by Air Peace. None of these foreign airlines have such rich welfare package for this thick population.
“In addition to that, Nigerians traveling to London from Owerri, Kano, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, etc have only to purchase the Air Peace Lagos-London route ticket and have free fare to Lagos to board Air Peace. The airline is really prepared for this stiff competition with the foreign counterparts. I even recommend this formula to our local airlines. It will boost their revenues. It is ideas that rule the world.
“May I therefore use this opportunity to enjoin fellow Nigerians to encourage and support Air Peace by boarding it always.
