The immediate past Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Association of Nigeria Licensed Custom Agents (ANLCA), Apapa Chapter, Chief Emeka Chukwumalu, has poured encomium on ANLCA.
In a press release by Emeka Media Team made available to The NationGuardNews.com, Chief Chukwumalu who was reacting to presentation of certificates of return to a nine-man executive elected by the Board of Trustees (BOT) of ANLCA, warmly felicitated with the newly elected executive members.
The staunch former PRO expressed implicit confidence that the principle of separation of powers applied by the BOT would guide the activities of the National Executive Committee (NECOM) and the BOT.
According to him, there was no better time than now for the two most powerful bodies of the Association to work out something that would endear ANLCA to Nigerians as well all affiliate organisations within the African region and the world at large. Advising them to be magnanimous in victory he wished them huge success in the task ahead.
Going further, the revered red cap chief in Igbo land who goes with the chieftaincy title of Akwudoleze expressed joy an confidence in the ability of each of the members of the executive who is endowed with rich exposure, experience, resourcefulness which would rub on ANLCA and reposition it for better.
The former PRO praised the NECOM National President, Chief Kingsley Nwokeji for his foresight that manifested in bringing ANLCA together as united one big family. He advised the new executive members to see their election as a call to duty by focusing on treating the ailments that hitherto created constant disaffection and skirmishes among members.
Those sworn in to pilot the affairs of the maritime body were Alhaji Mustapha Taiwo of Pyramid Associates Ltd (Port Harcourt Area 1 Chapter) as the Chairman; Chief Dennis Osadebe Okafor, MD/CEO, Denca Services Ltd, as the Vice Chairman and Chief Kingsley Ofo, as the Secretary.
