Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, CP Ishola Olarewaju Olawale has prohibited the Ajofia Nnewi Masquerade from entering Lagos.
According to information gathered, Commissioner Olawale expressed concern over public safety and potential breach of peace that might occur with the presence of the alleged dreaded and dreadful Ajofia masquerade.
The dreadful Ajofia Masquerade
The decision to take this measure was allegedly made following a meeting held between Igbo stakeholders in Lagos and the State Police Commissioner.
The masquerade, The NationGuardNews gathered, was invited to feature and entertain guests at an Igbo festival in Lagos.
