His Excellency, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, was elected the fifth governor of Anambra State in March 2022. The four-year tenure contract he has with the citizens of the State will expire in March, 2026. Government in a continuum. Therefore, an election for another four-year tenure has been scheduled in November, 2025.
Some say the incumbent governor deserves renewal of his contract with the citizens of the State. Chuka Nnabuife is leading that group. Others say Prof Soludo, (Charly Nwamgbafor) failed and should go while the state looks for a better leader than he is. Ebuka Onyekwelu unequivocally leads those in the that group. It is the two towns in Igbo land – Achina and Nachi. Achina means ‘Don’t rule or take’ while Nachi means ‘Continue leading or take more.’

Chuka Nnabuife, an internationally renowned journalist and author of six books is the Managing Director of Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO). He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Fellow of the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA)
He was the immediate past Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (Publishers of National Light Group of Newspapers) and Nigerian cultural ambassador among others.
