Pupils and teachers of Obalende Primary School, Ijeh,Ikoyi, Obalende in Eti-Osa 2 Local Government Area of Lagos were overwhelmed with joy for the learning materials brought to them by a corps member.

The corps member, Alozie Chinaza Eberechukwu with number LA/24B/4074 with her team donated essential education materials to the pupils. The learning materials provided for the pupils included 300 SDG-customized exercise books, 80 school bags, 50 pairs of school shoes, 150 pairs of white socks, 100 pencils,60 mathematical sets, 200 rulers, 100 erasers along with 100 sharpeners.

Going further, corps Alozie Chinaza also donated educational charts, bedsheets for the school’s sickbay. A standing electric fan was also donated to improve on ventilation

Her initiative which she themed, ‘Support Education for Underprivileged Children: Empowering Young Minds, One Pencil at a Time,’ is tune with Goal 4 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The donation sponsored and supported by Uzodimm Samonye and Co., JNCI Limited, Unik Designers and Monogramming, and AGE Consults Limited, was commissioned by the NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang who was represented by the Assistant Director CDS, Mrs Oso Grace.

Doing it right, doing the right thing with her team, Naza reads out what spurred them into action. If you are not moved by the pitiable situation of primary education in Nigeria, then Naza with her team is moved on your behalf.

Yes, they can do it …..and are already doing since Naza has provided them the enabling environment

Lucky pupils, they now have what enables them to advance in their learning
