The President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Engr Habu Gumel has sent his heart felt condolences to the family of late Saidu Abdullahi who was the president of Taekwondo Federation of Nigeria.
In a press release on behalf of the President which was signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Tony Nezianya, and made available to The NationGuardNews, Engr Gumel said the untimely departure of Saidu was a significant loss to the sports community in Nigeria and beyond.
Until his demise, Saidu was the serving President of the Taekwondo Federation of Nigeria, a respected member of the Olympic Committee’s board, and Chairman of the NOC Finance Committee.
While alive, the late Taekwondo President demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to the development of Taekwondo sports in Nigeria.
