Recently, the governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma commissioned the first ever old people’s home and orphanage in Imo State. It was established by the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach able led by Evang. Ebuka Obi. The home is located in Mgbirichi, Ohaji Egbema near the Owerri, the state capital.
Promising to provide security, logistics and land for expansion, Gov Uzodimma said:”Evangelist Ebuka’s decision to expand the Ministry’s operations in Imo State has placed the state on a path to greater global recognition.”
The home was built to provide care for orphans and the elderly particularly those without anyone to support them. Ebuka therefore invited the elderly with no caregivers to avail themselves of the facility which offers free accommodation and care.
”The home will provide shelter, food, clothing, education and healthcare , and ensure that the residents receive the support they need to thrive,” Ebuka assured.
We bring you photo news of the commissioning.
