NGN: On how his leadership of the Association protect or provide in the areas of accommodation, job opportunity, employment, etc to members:
Akajiugo We have facilitated the employment of no fewer than 15 members of our association. Our guiding principle is straightforward: industrialists within our ranks who require workers must first offer positions to members of the association—granting them the right of first refusal. Through this tradition, many of our members have secured gainful employment, thereby improving their capacity to meet both personal and familial responsibilities.
NGN: Values his regime adds to lives of the members:
Akajiugo The most significant value my administration has instilled in our members is the promotion of unity and love, standing firmly against hate, division, segregation, and disunity. We place a high premium on the unity of Abagana and the imperative of fostering mutual affection among our people.
NGN: In the spirit of ‘AKULUE UNO’ any evidence of such at home in Ababgana such that youths at home enjoy the largesse in sports, education, job creation, etc
Akajiugo We have recorded several landmark achievements in Abagana, including the following: A) The association successfully constructed a standard, solar-powered borehole in Obinagu, Abagana. This facility continues to provide essential water services to the community.

B) The Abagana Unity Cup, an annual football competition has been consistently sponsored by the Abagana Youth Association, Lagos. This event has become a notable platform for showcasing local football talent to broader audiences. Notably, Super Eagles international Chibuzo Okonkwo and several others once participated in the Abagana League.
C) In collaboration with the Searites Foundation in 2024, we supported 30 Abagana indigenes by providing startup funds for vocational skills—particularly in tailoring and welding. We ensured that the resources were utilized effectively, and many beneficiaries are now not only self-sufficient but also positioned to mentor and empower others.
D) Also in partnership with the Searites Foundation, we engaged in the promotion of the Igbo language. Concerned by its potential decline, we instituted awards and incentives for excellence in the subject. Over 20 students from public primary and secondary schools in Abagana who performed exceptionally in Igbo language studies received recognition.

NGN: On the chances of Abagana winning the Mayor’s Cup Competition in Mathematics, Igbo Language and Computer Appreciation which other communities in the Njikoka Local Government Area – Abba, Enugwu Agidi, Enugwu Ukwu, Nawfia and Nimo are eager to win the trophy
Akajiugo Abagana has historically played a pioneering role within Njikoka Local Government Area. We are confident that this progressive trajectory will be sustained into the future.
