Nigerian mothers especially those in Anambra State have been enjoined to restrain their sons from being used to cause any breach of peace in the November 8, 2025 election in Anambra State.
This clarion call was made by the Southeast Director General, Global Mothers And Children Humanitarian for Peace and Justice, Hon.Amb. Dr.Mrs Chinyere Juliana Madike while counseling mothers on the safety of their children in particular and the society in general during critical situation like the scheduled governorship election in Anambra State.
According to her, “Many male youths risk and lose their lives during elections because selfish politicians use them for criminal activities in elections.
“Some of these our children are paid to snatch ballot boxes, cause confusion and crises in polling booth centers, fight, maim or killing party agents, law enforcement agents, etc that stand against their principals or candidates.

“They do these things at the detriments of their own safety and lives. The politicians that pay them pee nuts have their own children abroad schooling.”
DG Madike therefore appealed to mothers in Anambra State to prevail on their children not to be used in the November 8, 2025 governorship in the state to settle any score not involving them at all.
The peace advocate equally enjoined politicians to play according to the rule of the game. She reminded them that there many better ways to serve God and humanity apart from contesting for public posts.

The incumbent governor, Prof Soludo and other contestants for the governorship election on 8 November, 2025. All are men caliber and caliber.
She wished the candidates best luck in the contest and prayed for the best candidate who will the God’s choice to be the winner.
“May also I appeal to the electoral umpires to let the voice and choice of the people count. Let the votes of the electorates count for that is the beauty of democracy.”
